The Basque Government visits Fagor Automation’s facilities in Beijing

On January 16, a delegation from the Basque Government participated in a trade and institutional mission to China, where members met with Basque companies operating in the Asian company, among them, Fagor Automation.

During the five-day visit, the delegation held meetings with the local government in the region of Jiangsu, as well as the chamber of commerce in this area, the largest in China, with more than 170,000 member companies.

Fagor Automation is collaborating in the ECOGRAB project (an industrial system for the recording of diffraction/polarization gratings for use in femtosecond laser encoders) in order to adapt to Industry 4.0 using cleaner and more efficient production techniques.

Fagor Automation has collaborated in two open houses organized by the Intaima Group (Taiwan) in Mexico City and Stuttgart.

The Intaima Group is currently made up by three Taiwanese companies: L&L, Jainnher and Millstart. This alliance of companies has been created to promote the development of the companies in the areas of R&D, production and sales and marketing.

According to the organizers, the Bilbao International Machine-Tool Exhibition, which has just come to a close, exceeded expectations in terms of the number of visitors, welcoming 40,000 people. Fagor Automation’s Android mobile app is now available

Fagor Automation has developed a mobile app for instant access to all the information on its products and services.

The company tasked with designing the interface was Irontec, one of the Basque Country’s free software and open source pioneers. Simple browsing was the priority on designing the app interface, which was developed using the Ionic framework, ideal for HTML5 developments in record time.
