Message: DRV variables not available.

Detection

During normal operation of the system.

Cause

No DRV variables have been created.

  • CNC start-up error due to continuous reading via the PLC.
  • The CNC tries to read the variables before they have been created.
  • The OEM table of variables is empty or has not been validated.

Solution

Check that DRV variables exist in the OEM machine parameter table and that the table has been validated correctly. If the error is due to the PLC CNCRD, the error will be cleared with a reset and then the reading will be executed correctly.
