Between May 28th and June 1st, Fagor Automation attended the Russian Machine Tool show, Metalloobrabotka which coincided with the BIEMH12 exhibition. This annual show had a surface of 34,000 m2 with 880 exhibitors, 63% of whom were local. Among the foreign importers, Moriseiki, DMG, MAGm Grupo Danobat, Charmiles, Okuma, Chmer and Sodick should be especially mentioned.
At this edition, Fagor Automation had a 21m2 booth located at the entrance to one of the most popular halls together with AFM companies. During the five days of the show, they have received numerous visits from their customers like Chevalier, Pilous, Baltiyskaya, MSZ – Salut, Danobat , etc. and even from competitors like Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc and Balt.
Fagor Automation’s presence at the show did not only focus on their own booth; There were also 5 machines equipped with Fagor: a GOITI punch press with an 8070 CNC, a teach-in late from Pinacho with an 8055TC CNC, another teach-in lathe from Chevalier with an con 8055TC CNC, a lathe with a DRO and a milling machine with a DRO on a Belorussian machine.
This may, Fagor Automation also attended the international mechanic show held in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Mecanica 2012. The most important importers like DEB’ MAQ, Meggaton, Travis and Ferramentas Gerais; local manufacturers Romi, Kone, Ferdimat, Mello, etc. and manufacturers/importers Charmilles, Soraluce, Sanobat, Okuma, Mori Seiki, etc. attended this show held between May 22nd and 26th.
In spite of the crisis that the country is going through, attendance of visitors to the show and particularly to the Fagor booth was very successful and several retrofit, CNC and encoder operations were closed. Likewise, machines with Fagor CNC’s and DRO’s could also be seen at the booths of Ferdimat, Simco, Tratmetal, DebMaq, Meggaton, Travis, Mello and Kone.
