The Counselor for Education, Linguistic Policy and Culture of the Basque Government, Ms. Cristina Uriarte, visit the Fagor Automation plant in Beijing on March 24th during her visit to China.
The delegation is formed by the counselor Ms. Cristina Uriarte, Ms. Itziar Alkorta (Vice-counselor for Universities and Research), Mr. Xabier Ortueta (Director of AFM), Mr. Josu Riezu (Head of Finances and HR, AFM), Mr. José Antonio Egaña (Director of the Machine Tool Institute in Elgoibar (Spain), IMH), Mr. Iñaki Luengo (International Dept. of CSMC, Tianjin), Mr. José Ignacio Artamendi (CSMC – Danobat group) and Mr. Aitzol Zubizarreta (Head of press and communication of the Education dept.).
The purpose of the trip is to open new collaboration with various academic institutions in the country related to professional training and to the university as well as consolidate and stimulate academic agreements already in force. The trip will visit Beijing and especially the city of Tianjin where, invited by the president of CSMC (Professional Training Institute on Mechanical manufacturing in Tianjin located inside the main Professional Training center –AFZ–), the counselor Ms.Cristina Uriarte will visit their facilities and will analyze the present level of collaboration between that institute and IMH – Machine Tool Institute of the Basque Country – Spain – (public professional training center of the Basque government). It is a very successful relationship of over 10 years and it is now being strengthened even further.
Their visit to Fagor Automation is included in the first part of the trip and it is because Fagor Automation has collaborated in the project from the very beginning and keeps a tight relationship with CSMC.
