This new product is another step in producing a complete range of absolute angular encoders that allows Fagor Automation to offer solutions in applications demanding absolute positioning technology.
The new angular encoders allow 23 and 27-bit angular resolution at accuracy grades of ±5″ and ±2.5″; these resolutions are equivalent to a count of 8,388,608 (23-bit) and 134,217,728 (27-bit) positions per turn. These high resolutions and accuracies benefit both the control system and the performance of the machine.
These new absolute encoders may be connected to CNC’s from the main manufacturers on the market such as FAGOR, FANUC, SIEMENS, MITSUBISHI CNC, PANASONIC, etc.
