APLOS CNC Machine Tool Manufacturing, an enterprise in Shangai specializing in the manufacture of high-end direct-drive CNC machine tools, focuses its activity on developing, designing, and manufacturing direct-drive machining centers.
Since 2016, APLOS CNC has been working with Fagor Automation thanks to the strategic partnership signed by both companies. At that time APLOS had the know-how in linear motion and design on precision machine tools, while Fagor Automation supplied the latest generation of numerical controls for machining. They therefore share a common goal: to supply to the market the highest-end direct-drive machines.
After more than 6 years of working together and being able to overcome a pandemic, we are still growing together.

Its first linear motor machine, the DX-450, was introduced in 2014. Two years later, in 2016, a strategic partnership was signed with Fagor Automation and the GV850 and LX360 models were developed. In 2019 the machine models GV1625, U400, and FGV1060 were launched in their facilities, with an annual output capability of 10 machines. Finally, in 2021 Aplos was established in Lingang (Pudong) with a yearly output of 40 machines.
After years of development, APLOS CNC has become an advanced manufacturer of direct drive machine tools at home and also abroad.
Nowadays, the main products currently issued by the company include:
- U series cradle five-axis machining center
- FGV series fixed beam gantry machiningcenter
- GV series crane-type gantry machining center
- GVM series profile machining center
- SW series medium and large swing head five-axis machining center
- Other precision machining centers.
The company is headquartered in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. The team has more than 40 R&D engineers, including outstanding experts in mechanical, electronic control, software, application technology, and other fields. At present, the company has a production base of more than 11,000 square meters, and all machine tools are assembled and produced in the constant temperature and humidity workshop.
In addition, the company has a research and development center established in Singapore, in which it has introduced several experts in the fields of motion control, vibration, machine tool design and manufacturing, and industrial interconnection. This leads to a strong drive for continuous improvement of the company’s products.
