After four years of research, the Power-OM project, led by the IK4-Tekniker center, is complete, having featured the participation of Fagor Automation and others. The companies that make up this consortium are Goratu (Basque Country), Artis (Germany), Predict (France), Monition Limited (United Kingdom), and the Luleå University of Technology (Sweden).

Fagor Automation’s Android mobile app is now available
Fagor Automation has developed a mobile app for instant access to all the information on its products and services.
The company tasked with designing the interface was Irontec, one of the Basque Country’s free software and open source pioneers. Simple browsing was the priority on designing the app interface, which was developed using the Ionic framework, ideal for HTML5 developments in record time.
FATIMA Project led by AOTEK
The Basque Government has approved the FATIMA Project, which, within the ELKARTEK call, leads AOTEK, the corporate R&D unit of Fagor Automation, in cooperation with the IDEKO and ETIC technology centers and the MONDRAGON UNIVERSITY.

The first Valencia Autonomous Vocational Training CNC Championship was held last February at the IES Molí del Sol, in Mislata (Valencia) and Fagor Automation was one of the partner companies at the event.

USTB HEXING TECHNOLOGY CO. designs and manufactures special machines for making large springs that are used for high speed trains, subways, large construction machinery etc.
They have manufactured about 30 spring machines so far and they are all equipped with Fagor CNCs (most of them with CNC 8037).

Fagor absolute linear and angular encoders with BiSS protocol
Fagor Automation further expands their offer with the BiSS communications protocol on their linear and angular encoders. The first linear models G and S/SV as well as angular encoders with an outside diameter of 90 mm will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2016.
