From 28th of May, Fagor Automation will be presenting at the Biennial Spanish Machine Tool Fair its new linear encoder, unique to the market, in which the reader head is removable from either end, without removing the tape. The new generation of steel-tape lineal encoder offers features unique to the sector that translate into an increase in profits for both the manufacturer and end-user of the machine.
Fagor Automation’s know-how has been essential in the development of this unique tensioning system which makes the insertion of the graduated tape of the linear encoders much easier; in this way, the mounting process on the machine enables the reading head to be inserted and removed from both sides with the graduated tape tight which means significant savings for customers in the mounting process, reducing machine downtime by up to 50% in after sales service.
Fagor Automation, also offers absolute encoders with digital communications protocols in the three technologies (3A) available (linear encoders with transmission technology, with reflection technology and high resolution angular encoders with transmission technology) and contactless linear encoders.
Fagor Automation will also be exhibiting the new protocol evaluation tool for encoder connection diagnostics known as PSED the aim of which is to implement solutions after diagnostics, in less time, minimising time and cost.
In the CNC division, the Biennial Spanish Machine Tool Fair will enable Fagor Automation to show the CNC 8065, with even more powerful high speed algorithms and the incorporation of increasingly more demanding features like volumetric compensation and solid 3D graphics, giving the process speed and realism.
Providing solutions to the demands of the market out of the traditional Machine Tool, the evolution of the CNC 8070 will be introduced in this fair. This updated CNC 8070 will offer all kind of facilities to the Oem and End User to design the machine following the client’s needs. Touch screen, built-in keyboard mouse, pop-up navigation … are some of the advantages of this renewed product.
